Every year the search goes on for new and exciting Bonsai artists who can be persuaded to come to our slice of paradise and pass on their varied knowledge. We have been very fortunate in obtaining the services of one of the best.

Robert Steven hails from Indonesia and is much in demand worldwide to showcase his talents and enthusiasm. He has demonstrated at conferences in Malaysia, India, the Phillipines, Singapore, Vietnam, China, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Slovakia, Thailand, Australia and the USA.

Robert started collecting Bonsai in 1979 and currently has a permanent exhibition centre with over 500 trees. He has won many international awards for his trees and has held various positions with the Asia-Pacific Bonsai Friendship Federation (ABFF) and the Bonsai Clubs International (BCI).

Robert is very active in writing articles on Bonsai and Penjing for a variety of newspapers, magazines and websites. His first book “Vision of my Soul” has proved to be a world wide success and his second “Mission of Transformation” was published in mid 2009.
